Design is one of the most powerful tools we have to address the big challenges of the 21st Century. It provides the tools to practice empathy, to work collaboratively, to think critically, to take risks, and to try again when things don’t turn out as planned. Create Lab’s award-winning holiday program, in collaboration with Innovation Quotient, will immerse students in design thinking techniques and concepts from Stanford, Apple, IBM, BMW, Facebook & Airbnb and empower them to solve problems impacting their homes, schools and communities.
By the end of the Camp, students will be able to confidently apply design thinking principals to devise solutions and build prototypes for a problem statement that is meaningful to them. They will also be able to apply this framework in their day-to-day lives at home and school while developing an entrepreneurial mindset.
