Facilitators (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Responsibilities

We are very passionate about educational disruption and learning innovation. If you aspire to make a difference and change lives, we are looking for you. Your responsibilities as a Facilitator include:

• Training and delivering our programs to children aged 5-12 years
• Taking part in the company’s community outreach programs
• Contributing, developing and sharing teaching best practices with the rest of the team
• Training and mentoring the company’s team of instructors and facilitators
• Overseeing parent relations

Requirements

• You should have a passion for Computer Science / Software Engineering: You have a desire to learn about computer science. You frequently read up on news in the field, and light up when talking about new technology. Bonus: You either studied or have worked (or both) in Computer Science / Engineering / Science / Mathematics field.
• Maker’s Mindset: You like to build things. Either a weekend side project or an open source project, you are actively exploring new ideas to build and contribute to.
• Communications Skills: You are fluent in English and are good at communicating your ideas
• Experience in, or an Interest in Teaching Kids: You like spending time with kids and are patient to get through your ideas to them.
• Work with Create Lab’s Academic Advisory Board to design & deliver creative technology curriculums that inspire students to create with technology
• Design and build learning tools (hardware and/or software) that help students learn programming, robotics and design thinking
• Improve design and delivery of course content based on classroom observations and feedback from stakeholders
• Take part in the training of Create Lab instructors

Interns (Full/Part-Time)

Responsibilities

Team Create Lab is passionate about educational disruption and learning innovation. We believe that every child should be equipped to face the future with confidence and the relevant skills. If you are just as passionate about education, creativity and technology while working for one of Singapore leading EduTech start-ups, we want to hear from you.

As an intern, you will have an opportunity to be exposed to all parts of our business including planning, strategy, overseas expansion, finance & education delivery. Your primary responsibilities will be focused on marketing as well as learning delivery. You will do this is an environment full of energy, surrounded by some of Singapore’s fastest growing start-ups as your neighbours in Block 71.

Requirements

• You should have good communication skills, be self-motivated and energetic
• You should be able to commit a minimum of 3 months for this role, but we are flexible in terms of working days/hours etc.
• You should have an interest in education, especially empowering younger age groups
• If you have a background in digital design with familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign etc, that would be great too
